Summary:

“I have seen the light!” Jake roared as the Triple Rock Baptist Church erupted in cheers.

“What light?” his brother asked, confused.

“Elwood, you robot, the band…the band. We’re gonna reunite the Blues Brothers Band. Brother, we’re on a mission for God.”

And so it was. But Jake had lost the last three years in Joliet Prison, and their band was scattered over the Midwest like Schlitz bottlecaps. Could Jake and Elwood locate them and raise the $5000 necessary to save the St. Helen of the Blessed Shroud Orphanage? Could they do it legally? To succeed, they will have to elude the largest manhunt in Steel Belt history, escape the Illinois Nazi Party and charm the beautiful blonde mystery lady with the Revlonned nails and the bazooka.

Elwood grabbed the wheel of the Bluesmobile and turned to his brother. “It’s 240 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.” Jake glared straight ahead. “Hit it.”
